Law360, New York (January 17, 2012, 4:58 PM ET) -- A former Sanofi-Aventis U.S. LLC research chemist pled guilty Tuesday in New Jersey federal court to stealing the pharmaceutical company's trade secrets and selling them through the U.S. branch of a Chinese chemicals company.
Yuan Li admitted to one count of theft of trade secrets as part of a plea agreement filed with U.S. District Judge Joel A. Pisano.
