Fujifilm Rival Says Rite Aid Deal Will Bolster Monopoly

Law360, New York (January 17, 2012, 7:14 PM ET) -- Photo lab maintenance provider Retail Imaging Management Group LLC asked a federal court Tuesday to block Fujifilm North America Corp. from servicing Rite Aid Corp. photo labs, claiming allowing the service deal would “hasten the demise of [Fujifilm's] only national service competitor.”

Retail Imaging filed an emergency motion for a temporary restraining order, asking an Oregon federal court to enjoin Fujifilm from commencing work on its contract to service Rite Aid’s 4,400 nationwide photo lab locations starting Feb. 16 and continuing through March 5.
