Law360, New York (January 18, 2012, 2:38 PM ET) -- Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul on Friday lodged a libel, false advertising and trademark suit in California over a campaign video targeting former candidate Jon Huntsman that allegedly falsely implied the Texas congressman endorsed or created the negative ad.
The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign Committee Inc. filed a complaint in California federal court, alleging the unnamed creators of the infamous “Jon Huntsman’s Values” campaign ad — which suggested Huntsman was the "Manchurian Candidate," among other slurs — falsely attributed the ad to his campaign....
