Law360, Los Angeles (January 18, 2012, 7:05 PM ET) -- Eastman Kodak Co. on Wednesday filed suit against Samsung Electronics America Inc. alleging that five of its patents are allegedly infringed by Samsung's Galaxy Tab device, continuing the cameramaker's recent patent offensive over its digital imaging technology.
Kodak claims Samsung, through its tablet, has willfully infringed U.S. Patent Numbers 6,292,218; 7,210,161; 7,742,084; 7,453,605; and 7,936,391. The complaint, filed in New York federal court, seeks unspecified damages and an injunction barring Samsung from continuing the alleged infringement.
