Ferrero Closes Lid On Nutella False Ad Suit

Law360, New York (January 20, 2012, 5:21 PM EST) -- Ferrero USA Inc. on Thursday agreed to pay consumers $550,000 and make changes to the labeling and advertising of its chocolate hazelnut spread Nutella to settle a class action claiming that it misleadingly promoted the product as nutritious despite its high levels of fat and sugar.
