Swanson Tool Awarded $600K In Trademark Counterfeiting Suit

Law360, New York (February 15, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal court in Illinois has awarded Swanson Tool Company more than $600,000 in a trademark counterfeiting lawsuit which remains pending against several other defendants.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois entered the default judgment of $600,000 in statutory damages against Frankwell Trading Company, as well as reimbursement for attorneys’ fees and costs totaling $38,753.
