Kasowitz Sues WebXchange Over IP Litigation Fees

Law360, New York (January 23, 2012, 7:14 PM EST) -- Kasowitz Benson Torres & Friedman LLP on Thursday demanded in New York court that software developer WebXchange pay the firm $750,000 in fees stemming from patent infringement suits it launched against Allstate Corp., Dell Inc. and FedEx Corp.

The firm represented WebXchange in the three suits brought in Delaware federal court in 2008, alleging infringement of three networking patents owned by WebXchange. The Allstate case ended in a 2009 settlement, while the Dell and FedEx cases are pending.
