Dick's Exec Gets 3 Years For Kickbacks

Law360, New York (January 23, 2012, 5:12 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge last week sentenced a former Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. real estate executive to three years in prison and ordered him to forfeit nearly $1.5 million for a scheme in which he collected some $2 million in kickbacks from developers.

In the Jan. 17 sentencing, U.S. District Judge David N. Hurd also ordered Joseph Queri, the 53-year-old former senior vice president of real estate for Dick’s, to pay $325,000 in restitution and to serve three years of supervised release, according to court...
