Raymond Carver's Widow Sues Publisher Over Book Rights

Law360, New York (January 23, 2012, 6:49 PM ET) -- The wife of late author Raymond Carver filed a copyright suit Friday against Skyhorse Publishing Inc., which she claims printed a book containing photos of Carver and excerpts of his work without authorization.

The book, "Carver Country: The World of Raymond Carver," was first published by Arcade Publishing Inc. in 1994, six years after Carver's death, according to the suit, filed in New York federal court.
