Magellan Explores Interest In Expanding $275M Pipeline

Law360, New York (January 23, 2012, 6:46 PM EST) -- Energy company Magellan Midstream Partners LP is officially seeking commitments from crude oil shippers in Texas in a move that could expand a $275 million pipeline project currently under construction, the company announced on Monday.

The Tulsa, Okla.,-based company has declared an open season, which will end on Feb. 23, to see if there's any interest in boosting the pumping capacity of an 18-inch pipeline that originates in Crane, Texas, and flows to a Houston terminal, company spokesman Bruce Heine told Law360 on Monday.
