Accused Boeing Secrets Thief Denied Bail For Now

Law360, New York (January 24, 2012, 6:35 PM ET) -- A former contractor for a Boeing Co. unit that develops U.S. military drones cannot be released from custody before his trial over a trade secrets charge unless his mental health improves, a federal judge in Washington state ruled Monday.

U.S. District Judge James P. Hutton denied Stephen Marty Ward’s motion for bail, handing a victory to prosecutors who fought to keep the former Insitu Inc. contractor in custody.
