US To Draw Up Trade, Investment Plan With Egypt

Law360, San Diego (January 24, 2012, 7:46 PM EST) -- The U.S. and Egypt have agreed to develop an action plan to enhance their trade and investment relationship, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative said Tuesday.

The plan, which came about during a Jan. 18 meeting between U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk and Egyptian Minister for Industry and Foreign Trade Mahmoud Eisa, aims to increase exports, expand investment and assist small and medium-size businesses, while also focusing on creating jobs.
