Law360, New York (January 24, 2012, 9:48 PM ET) -- MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co., a unit of Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway Inc., announced Tuesday that it is launching a new company called MidAmerican Renewables LLC that will preside over wind, geothermal, solar and hydro renewable energy projects.
The company will be based in Des Moines, Iowa, and will encompass four units: MidAmerican Wind LLC, MidAmerican Geothermal LLC, MidAmerican Solar LLC and MidAmerican Hydro LLC.
