Canadian Lender Wants $15M Back For WTC Financing

Law360, New York (January 25, 2012, 3:26 PM ET) -- A Canadian lender said in a New York federal lawsuit Monday that it had lost $15 million because a construction company and a government agency have allegedly diverted financing payments for the reconstruction of the World Trade Center site to other vendors.

Tishman Construction Corp. and One World Trade Center LLC, an affiliate of the intergovernmental agency and World Trade Center site owner the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, haven't made any payments under a financing arrangement since mid-2011, according to the complaint...
