CenterPoint Joins EEOC Mediation Agreement

Law360, New York (July 23, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Utility company CenterPoint Energy has joined a growing list of large companies that have signed an agreement with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to resolve labor disputes through mediation, the EEOC announced Friday.

Under the agreement, CenterPoint has pledged that it will always agree to mediation with the EOCC when employees bring discrimination charges.
