Best Buy Beats Class Cert In Calif. Overtime Suit

Law360, New York (January 25, 2012, 8:12 PM ET) -- A California federal judge denied class certification Wednesday in a case that claimed Best Buy Stores LP denied employees required overtime and breaks, citing last year's decision in Wal-Mart Stores Inc. v. Dukes in ruling the plaintiff hadn't shown her claims could be verified across the proposed class.
