Viacom, Photog End Copyright Beef Over NWA Images

Law360, New York (January 25, 2012, 8:12 PM ET) -- Viacom Inc. on Wednesday settled a suit by a Los Angeles-based photographer who alleged the entertainment giant had unlawfully used several photographs in a 2008 VH1 documentary about the legendary hip-hop group N.W.A.

In an order filed in New York federal court, U.S. District Judge Paul A. Engelmayer dismissed the suit after photographer Howard Rosenberg, Viacom and production company Creature Films Inc. alerted the court that they had settled the dispute.
