Groupon Settles SellerBid Wireless Tech Patent Suit

Law360, New York (January 26, 2012, 12:42 PM EST) -- Groupon Inc. on Tuesday resolved a patent suit by SellerBid Inc. that accused the deal-of-the-day website of infringing two patents for technology that allows for the secure selling of group transactions over a wireless server.

Groupon and Sellerbid filed a joint stipulation of dismissal in Virginia federal court, in which they agreed to dismiss all claims and counterclaims against each other with prejudice.
