Law360, New York (January 27, 2012, 4:17 PM ET) -- Cooley LLP confirmed Friday that partner Suzanne Sawochka Hooper is leaving the firm to become general counsel for Irish biopharmaceutical company Jazz Phamaceuticals PLC, a longtime client that she represented during its recent merger with Azur Pharma PLC.
Hooper, who is based in Cooley's office in California's Silicon Valley and is also a member of the firm's management committee and vice chairwoman of its business department, replaces Jazz's current GC, Carol Gamble, who is retiring in March.
