Zagat, Others Sued For Infringing Reservations Patent

Law360, New York (July 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Patent licensing company Online Reservations LLC has fired off a lawsuit against a group of restaurant booking services, including OpenTable Inc. and Zagat Survey LLC, accusing them of infringing its patented system for reserving tables over the Internet.

Other companies hit by the suit, filed on Monday in the U.S. District Court of Eastern Texas, include online booking provider Guestbridge Inc., newspaper company The Washington Post Co. and Texas restaurant Naan Restaurants LLC.
