Carlyle Raises $37M For European Real Estate Plays

Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 1:03 PM EST) -- Private equity powerhouse The Carlyle Group has raised more than $37 million from a handful of investors for an open-ended fund dedicated to real estate investments in Europe, according to a Friday regulatory filing.

The fund, Carlyle Europe Real Estate Master Co-Investment III-U LP, has five investors so far and is under the supervision of Robert Konigsberg, managing director of Carlyle and chief financial officer for Carlyle’s real estate funds, said documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
