GE Wins $1B Contracts For Australian Liquefied Gas Plant

Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 12:19 PM ET) -- The oil and gas arm of General Electric Co. has secured more than $1 billion worth of contracts to supply equipment and services for a $34 billion liquefied natural gas subsea project in northern Australia, the company announced Monday.

GE Oil & Gas will provide rotating equipment, including gas turbines and compressors, for the new Ichthys LNG plant in Australia's Northern Territory, as well as floating production storage, offloading centers and a central processing facility.
