Bennett, McCarthy Rep RuggedCom In Siemens' Takeover

Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 2:00 PM ET) -- German engineering giant Siemens AG will acquire RuggedCom Inc., a Canadian communications and network solutions company, for $381 million in order to expand the footprint for its industrial Ethernet products in North America and the Asia-Pacific region, the companies announced Monday.

Siemens' friendly takeover bid of $33 per share tops an unsolicited $22-per-share offer that Belden Inc. had put forward for the Concord, Canada-based company in December.
