Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 6:23 PM ET) -- A New York bankruptcy judge ended jockeying between law firms Monday by selecting Outten & Golden LLP as interim counsel for consolidated class actions against MF Global Inc. over its alleged failure to warn employees of mass layoffs after the broker-dealer's collapse.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn picked the firm from several that had been vying — at times bitterly — to represent ex-MF Global employees in three putative class actions alleging violations of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
