FERC OKs $400M Las Vegas Pipeline Expansion

Law360, New York (July 24, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Pipeline transportation company Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP won the Federal Energy Regulation Commission's approval on Friday to develop a $400 million expansion of the CalNev pipeline system into Las Vegas.

The CalNev Pipeline is a 550-mile long oil pipeline that runs from Los Angeles refineries in California to Nellis Air Force Case near Las Vegas, Nev. It carries about 128,000 barrels of gasoline, jet fuel and diesel fuel every day.
