Commerce Will Keep Duties On German Brass

Law360, Los Angeles (January 31, 2012, 4:52 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce said Tuesday that it will keep long-standing anti-dumping duties on German imports of brass sheets and strips following the completion of a five-year sunset review concerning the imported goods.

Commerce said Wieland–Werke AG, which was one of four German companies that responded to the agency's inquiry, would likely continue dumping its product at a 3.8 percent margin if the duty was lifted.
