Law360, New York (February 01, 2012, 4:24 PM ET) -- A patent-holding company unleashed a bevy of lawsuits in Delaware Monday against Cox Communications Inc., Time Warner Cable Inc., Comcast Cable Communications LLC and more than a dozen other cable providers for allegedly creating iPhone apps that infringe a data transmission patent.
Texas-based Cyberfone Systems LLC separately accused 13 companies in Delaware federal court of providing various on-demand services that violate technology covered by U.S. Patent Number 8,019,060, which is owned by Cyberfone.
