Enzo, Roche Square Off Over Medical Testing Patent

Law360, New York (January 31, 2012, 1:25 PM ET) -- A subsidiary of Enzo Biochem Inc. hit three units of F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. with a suit on Monday alleging the Basel, Switzerland-based health care company infringed its medical diagnostic technology patent.

Enzo Life Sciences Inc.’s suit names Roche Diagnostics Corp., Roche Diagnostics Operations Inc. and Roche Molecular Systems Inc.

At issue is U.S. Patent No. 6,992,180, titled "Oligo- or polynucleotides comprising phosphate-moiety labeled nucleotides," according to the suit.
