Law360, New York (January 31, 2012, 3:23 PM ET) -- A California appeals court on Monday upheld a ruling for Blizzard Entertainment Inc. in a former employee's trade secrets case, ruling that the employee hadn't sufficiently protected his coveted list of industry contacts to merit a state law claim.
The appeals court affirmed a Los Angeles County Superior Court ruling finding that because the video game developer's former sound engineer had freely shared his Rolodex of voice actor contact information after joining the company, he could not claim that his erstwhile employer had stolen this information....
