NY Court Backs EchoStar Sanctions For Deleting Emails

Law360, San Diego (January 31, 2012, 6:00 PM ET) -- A New York state appeals court on Tuesday determined that a trial judge properly imposed sanctions on EchoStar Satellite LLC for failing to preserve emails in anticipation of and after a Cablevision Systems Corp. unit's filing of $2.5 billion breach of contract suit against it.
