GAO Shoots Down Air Force Landing System Bid Protest

Law360, New York (January 31, 2012, 7:09 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied ITT Exelis Inc.'s protest of the U.S. Air Force's $8.8 million contract award to rival Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. to provide portable instrument landing systems for aircraft at airfields around the globe, according to a decision posted Tuesday.
