Law360, New York (February 02, 2012, 8:35 PM ET) -- A Texas federal judge on Tuesday limited the coverage that St. Paul Surplus Lines Insurance Co. would have to provide under a pollution policy to an oil field operator seeking up to $15 million for damage caused by Hurricane Katrina.
U.S. District Judge Gray Miller said the insurer would only have to cover Cox Operating LLC's flowline repair and wreck removal work under the policy if the work dealt with testing, monitoring, cleaning up and treating pollutants.
