Apple Accuses Plaintiff of Lying About Patent

Law360, New York (July 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Apple Computer Inc. has asked a federal judge to review documents belonging to a company suing the tech giant for patent infringement to determine if they may have helped further fraud, exempting them from attorney-client privilege.

Should the judge's review produce information that erases the privilege, then the documents in question should be disclosed as part of the discovery process, Apple said in its motion on Monday.
