Peru Pension Funds To Invest $500M In Infrastructure

Law360, New York (February 2, 2012, 4:25 PM EST) -- A group of Peruvian pension plans aim to invest at least $500 million in the nation's ongoing infrastructure projects in the first quarter of this year, according to experts at an investor event in Lima on Thursday.

After investing about $3.35 billion last year, Peru's Pension Fund Administrators expect to invest up to 11 percent of their portfolio in seaport and transportation infrastructure projects this quarter, said fund investment head Jose Roca said, according to Peruvian media reports.
