Law360, New York (February 02, 2012, 3:21 PM ET) -- Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP has hired for its corporate-focused London office a Mayer Brown LLP capital markets veteran who counts major banks among her clients, Orrick said Thursday.

Stephanie Bates focuses her practice on representing issuers and underwriters in U.K. equity capital markets transactions and public company mergers and acquisitions, Orrick said.
