GAO Rejects Booz Allen Protest Of $1.8B Navy Contract

Law360, New York (February 2, 2012, 4:37 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied Booz Allen Hamilton Inc.’s challenge to the U.S. Navy’s decision to award a $1.8 billion technical support and ship transfer services contract to VSE Corp., according to a decision released Thursday.

Booz Allen argued that its rival’s cost proposal failed to comply with the material solicitation requirement, which mandated a specific allocation of labor between stateside and overseas locations.
