Clawback Suit Against Ex-Morgan & Finnegan Attys Survives

Law360, New York (February 02, 2012, 9:05 PM ET) -- Claims in a lawsuit seeking to claw back money from former partners of the defunct intellectual property boutique Morgan & Finnegan LLP will go forward after a New York bankruptcy judge on Thursday rejected most of the partners' coordinated motion to dismiss the case.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert Drain allowed M&F trustee Roy Babitt to keep pursuing fraudulent transfer claims against the small group of five ex-partners, who received distributions as the law firm, which dissolved in January 2009, was going under.
