Wrigley Building Clears First Hurdle To Landmark Status

Law360, New York (February 03, 2012, 5:11 PM ET) -- Chicago's historic Wrigley Building has cleared the first hurdle to being named a city landmark after a city commission unanimously approved a preliminary proposal granting it landmark status, the building's owners said Thursday.

In a joint press release, Chicago real estate firm Zeller Realty Group Inc. and private investment bank BDT Capital Partners LLC said the property was recommended for landmarks designation at a Commission on Chicago Landmarks meeting Thursday.
