Google Defies EU Watchdog's Call To Delay Privacy Policy

Law360, New York (February 03, 2012, 12:15 PM ET) -- Google Inc. on Friday resisted a European Union watchdog's request that it halt the rollout of its new privacy policy, contending European authorities had more than enough notification of the changes.

“As you will know, we had extensively prebriefed data protection authorities across the EU prior to the launch of our notification to users on [Jan. 24].
