US Importers Battle ITC Chinese Flooring Probe Results

Law360, New York (February 03, 2012, 5:09 PM ET) -- U.S. flooring importers on Thursday challenged a U.S. International Trade Commission ruling that found Chinese imports of multilayered wood flooring had materially injured domestic manufacturers, calling the agency’s analysis “flawed" for ignoring key evidence and using defective data.

Six companies that import wood flooring, including Swiff-Train Co., Metropolitan Hardwood Floors Inc. and Galleher Corp., claimed the ITC erred in its November decision to institute anti-dumping and countervailing duties on multilayered wood flooring from China.
