Law360, New York (February 03, 2012, 6:24 PM ET) -- A California appeals court on Thursday tossed a lawsuit against Santa Barbara County over its approval of an environmental impact report for Acciona Energy USA's planned 98-megawatt wind farm, the first major wind energy project in the county.
Acciona subsidiary Pacific Renewable Energy Generation LLC is planning to install up to to 65 wind turbines, which would generate enough electricity to power more than 40,000 households, according to Santa Barbara County's website.
