PGI Waves Goodbye To Trademark Row With Magla, Kroger

Law360, San Diego (February 03, 2012, 7:10 PM ET) -- Polymer Group Inc. on Friday reached separate settlements with Magla Products LLC and The Kroger Co. in its suit in North Carolina federal court alleging the defendants violated its trademark for a wavy design licensed for use on Clorox Co.'s Handi Wipes.

U.S. District Judge Max Cogburn Jr. entered a final judgment on PGI’s deal with Magla that bars the defendant from selling any product using PGI’s wavy line trademark, Magla’s accused design or any other design that is confusingly similar to the trademark.
