Verizon, Coinstar To Create Netflix Movie Streaming Rival

Law360, New York (February 06, 2012, 6:15 PM ET) -- Verizon Communications Inc. has reached a deal to add streaming video services to Coinstar Inc.'s Redbox movie rental kiosks through a new joint venture set to take off in the second half of 2012, the companies said Monday, raising the specter of a new Netflix Inc. competitor.
