$130M Chinatown Planned For NC Triangle

Law360, New York (February 6, 2012, 2:27 PM EST) -- A group of Chinese investors has partnered with a North Carolina developer to turn a struggling mall across from Raleigh-Durham International Airport into a $130 million Chinatown to support the area's growing Chinese population, Mark Herman, CEO of Panda Properties Sino LLC, said Monday.

“Chinatown In N.C.” would include a Chinese-design-inspired five-star hotel, a cultural center and two parking decks on the site of the Prime Outlets at Morrisville, which recently lost a major anchor when Saks Fifth Avenue's Off 5th vacated its space last month....
