2nd Circ. Says Usher Didn't Rip Off R&B Tune

Law360, New York (February 06, 2012, 4:56 PM ET) -- The Second Circuit on Monday backed the pretrial dismissal of a copyright suit accusing R&B singer Usher of stealing another performer's material for use in his song “Caught Up,” saying the lower court had properly determined a lack of similarity between the two works.
