Deepwater Legal Fee Order Still Discourages Settlements: Atty

Law360, New York (February 06, 2012, 10:42 PM ET) -- A plaintiffs' lawyer in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill multidistrict litigation asked the Fifth Circuit on Monday to void an order setting aside funds for legal fees from settlements, saying recent changes to the set-aside order didn't go far enough to ensure spill victims wouldn't be discouraged from settling.
