Investor Class Certified In BofA-Merrill Merger Suit

Law360, New York (February 06, 2012, 7:43 PM ET) -- A New York federal judge on Monday certified a class of investors in a consolidated securities fraud suit against Bank of America Corp. and its directors over the bank's troubled $50 billion acquisition of Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.

U.S. District Judge P. Kevin Castel said the investors had sufficiently established that questions of law or fact common to class members predominate over any questions affecting only individual class members.
