SAIC Loses Challenge To $60M Air Force Intel Contract

Law360, New York (February 07, 2012, 2:06 PM ET) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has shot down Science Applications International Corp.'s protest over the U.S. Air Force's award of a nearly $60 million contract for intelligence-related support services to MacAulay-Brown Inc., according to a decision published Monday.

SAIC, the incumbent contractor, was unable to convince the GAO that the Air Force's technical evaluation of the two companies' proposals was flawed, or that MBI had gained an unfair competitive advantage that allowed it to recruit SAIC's own employees to work on the contract.
