Law360, New York (February 07, 2012, 4:38 PM ET) -- The D.C. Circuit on Monday ordered a lower court to explain the reasoning behind its denial of conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart’s motion to dismiss former U.S. official Shirley Sherrod's defamation suit based on Washington's Anti-Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation statute.
The D.C. Circuit further ordered that consideration of the motion for dismissal or for summary affirmance be deferred pending further order of the court.
