Law360, New York (February 07, 2012, 6:04 PM ET) -- A titanic $4 billion convention center project in New York that would create the largest event center in the country may hinge on negotiations over revenue-sharing at the developer's nearby casino complex, industry watchers said Tuesday.
The developer, Genting Malaysia Bhd., announced Jan. 5 it had reached a nonbinding agreement with the New York State Development Corp. to erect a 3.8-million-square-foot center in Queens, adjacent to the Aqueduct Racetrack and Genting-owned Resorts World Casino.
